Liverpool Halloween

It’s that time of year again: pumpkins are being carved, eaten, and turned into lattes (we’re looking at you, hipster coffee shops). But what are some of the places and events in Liverpool where you can truly feel the spooookiness of the holiday? KOMPAS is here to help you with our list of top places and events to get you into the holiday spirit.

Speke Hall should really have been called Spooky Hall with its gruesome history. With infanticide and suicide in its past, how could it not become a Halloween attraction? If that’s the sort of thing that interests you (we don’t judge) you should most definitely visit this National Trust site to learn more about both the Tudor building and its history.

Halloween HQ @ Liverpool ONE

If you want to feel the true Spirit of the holiday there’s a place for you. Halloween HQ has gone all out this Halloween, selling everything from trick or treat bags to fancy & terrifying outfits. Even the staff is dressed up!

Spooky Welly Walk

So we don’t know for sure if Pug Gandalf, Pug Merlin, and Pug I-bought-my-costume-too-late are going to be joining the Welly Walk. But we think you should! Just put on your wellies and best Halloween dress and go on the walk – you’ll be supporting the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (the pugs are all secretly oncologists actually).
